PrEVIOUS Events

Such a cute little bistro in SOMA. The covered patio is heated and it’s not too cold even in SF weather. Unlike trendy restaurants in SF, you don’t need a reservation to dine here. The classic French menu attracts an slightly older crowd than the hipster/“what’s new this week” joints I find myself at way too often.

It seemed like the servers are actually French, which is very nice. Ours was extremely upbeat, helpful, and sweet. She recommended the Pan Seared Day Boat Scallops for me and it was excellent! I am always worried that scallops come in small portions but these were large and filling.

My dining partner had the Coq Au Vin, which was reportedly very good as well.

Even though I didn’t need dessert, we opted for the Mousse au Chocolate. It was light and satisfying.
